Hi everyone! I've been trying to teach myself French for a while and I thought it would be fun to create some blog posts as I go along to help myself study so I will be doing regular posts on French. In my last post I discussed times. In this post I will be looking at meeting people. Please note this is not a study guide, if I make any mistakes please let me know!

Formal

Use vous (vooh) for strangers, workers, managers and older people.

Informal

Use tu (tew) for friends, animals, children and young people in informal settings.

Note:
Vous is also used as the plural for you in both formal and informal settings.

How I'm Reading More!

I love reading. Books are something that have become so important to me and so much part of my life. I tend to find reading difficult with my mental health, it can be hard to focus or even pick up a book. I go through a lot of reading slumps! But lately I have been reading more and I have surpassed my original Goodreads goal of 20 books! So I wanted to talk about what has been helping me to read more:

Is It Possible To Be Eco Friendly When Marketing?

The key to being eco friendly is to be sustainable, and have some kind of natural longevity to you and your business. Of course, it can be hard to set up without being able to take advantage of the numerous resources at your disposal, and a lot of people think to themselves, ‘Is eco friendly marketing really possible?’

The short answer? Yes! The long answer? You might have to put in a bit more effort than you’re used to, or anyone told you about, but it’s still possible and totally worth it. So, without further ado, here are some little ways to help your marketing campaign or strategy stay eco friendly and conscious of the world around it. All you need is a bit of time and a love for your local world on your side.

Why You Need a Will

In the UK, 54% of adults don’t have a will. 6 in 10 parents don’t, and people over 55 are three times as likely to write a will than younger demographics. Our own death isn’t something that any of us are comfortable thinking about, and most of us would rather avoid it at all costs.

But, as we’re all currently learning in a rather uncomfortable way, you never know what might happen. The world is vastly different from the easy world of three months ago when we were all going about our lives as usual, with no thought of wearing masks to go to the shops. In late 2019, most of us had never heard of the term “social-distancing”, and now it’s something that we are all living with.

Answer: il est (eel ey) number heure/s. (Heure is for 1 o'clock),
For example, il est sept heures (it is seven o'clock).

Self-Isolation And Anxiety

The UK has not even gone into lockdown for two weeks that most of us are already freaking out. The truth is that the coronavirus pandemic is a completely unique situation that nothing could have prepared us for. For the first time since WWII, households are forced to ration their food and freedom to make sure that the rest of the country can cope. We don’t know how to react to the sudden and brutal change of life. As a result, it is a major source of anxiety for people. How can you cope with the stress of self-isolation?
